Robin, what services do you provide at Holistic Healing Arts?
Our services include various forms of Acupuncture and Therapeutic Massage as well as Herbal Medicine, Cupping, Homeopathy, Bio-Injections, Therapeutic Sound Healing, and Acugraph (software supports patient outcomes). We’ll be adding Qigong classes in the near future.
Please summarize your clinical experience and credentials?
I earned my degree in Chinese Medicine after working as a nurse for more than 20 years. My nursing experience included working in nephrology (kidney care), home health care and an operations manager for a Fortune 500 medical company. I was motivated to seek more natural approaches to help patients manage their pain and symptoms. I benefited from acupuncture for hip pain myself and that inspired me to pursue my study of Traditional Chinese Medicine. I’m Board-Certified in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine with a Master of Science Degree in Oriental Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Professional Health Sciences. I’ve also earned certifications in Injection Therapy and Facial Rejuvenation.
Please introduce Sandra Winogrocki, LMT, BCMT.
My business partner, Sandra is a Board Certified Massage Therapist, with over 20 years of experience in various healing modalities. She began her career at premier resorts, like the Four Season Hotel in Las Vegas. Sandra is a highly intuitive practitioner and has an excellent understanding of alternative approaches to healing and prevention. She’s in the process of completing a certification in the use of sound to support the body’s response to emotional, spiritual, and physical healing.
Where are you both from originally and what brought you to Englewood?
I’m a native Floridian from the Miami area. I moved to the Gulf Coast in 2010 and settled in Englewood a few years later. Sandra is originally from Michigan and moved to Englewood after working in pemier spas in California and Las Vegas.
What would you like to share about your family and your other interests?
Sandra and I both enjoy creating mixed media spiritually-inspired art, which is reflected in the decorum of our center on Dearborn Street. For the last five years, Sandra and her finance, Michael Katala, have enjoyed offering their instrumental Sound Immersion events to help listeners tap into their inner peace and tranquility.
