We also have expertise in proven cosmetic dermatology protocols including CoolPeel® treatments, Botox, Dysport, and dermal fillers.
What are your clinical credentials? I’m a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine as well as a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
Who else is on your clinical team? Our providers include Danielle DeCubellis and Alexandra Allen, our board-certified nurse practitioners; as well as Carolyn Edlund, our certified physician assistant. We are supported by an incredible team of licensed practical nurses, medical assistants, medical receptionists, plus an insurance specialist and biologics coordinator who all help us to care for our patients’ needs daily.
What are the benefits of CoolPeel®? The treatments offer an efficient and safe way to treat various skin texture and pigmentation issues leading to rejuvenated and more radiant skin. The treatments can be tailored to the needs of individual patients with minimal downtime. It’s a reliable protocol for treating sun damage, fine lines, skin pore abnormalities, and skin texture issues. Another advantage is there is no thermal damage to surrounding tissues.
Please give our readers a few helpful tips for healthier skin. Protection from the harmful UV rays is important for preventing premature aging and reducing the risk of skin cancer. That includes the use of a broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) even on cloudy or winter days. It’s helpful to reapply the sunscreen every two hours and especially if you are swimming or sweating from doing outside work. Regular skin checks is the key to early detection of potential skin cancer. We recommend a full-body skin check at least once a year and more often if you have a personal or family history of skin cancer. Drinking plenty of fresh water is also important for keeping the skin hydrated. Water helps to flush out toxins, improve blood circulation, and aid the absorption of nutrients. Moisturizing products can be helpful as well. Another good habit for women is to remove makeup before bed with a mild cleanser.
What are some of your interests away from the clinic? I love reading, horseback riding, international travel, medicine, and spending time with friends and family.
